A new study conducted by the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota has found that laser eye-surgery does not seem to have a major impact on the density of the cornea, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Researchers wondered if patients who underwent the procedure would have thinner corneas than those who did not, but it appears that laser eye surgery does not effect the long term eye health of a patient.
